Alan McFerran spent over a decade inside professional football — through the dressing rooms of Bristol City FC and the Republic of Ireland youth setup (U15–U21) — before opening his own clinic in 2022.
The standard he learned on the training ground turned out to be exportable. The same forty-five minutes, the same hands-on work, the same plan in writing — whether the patient earns a living on a pitch or just wants to climb the stairs without thinking about it.
The clinic exists because that standard shouldn’t only apply to the person being paid to play on a Saturday. The mother with a torn rotator cuff gets the same forty-five minutes, the same hands, the same plan.
Joined the academy as U18 physiotherapist — then promoted to the U21s, and on to the first team. Match-day pitchside, training-ground prevention, return-to-play programming.
International appointment with the Republic of Ireland U21 setup alongside club work — and more recently the U17s and U15s. Tournament physiotherapy, high-stakes return-to-play.
Opens the first clinic at Clifton Rugby Club, Cribbs Causeway. Free onsite parking, ground-floor, access to the LIFT gym for rehab.
Diploma in the Theory and Practice of Injection Therapy — adds hyaluronic acid joint injections as an adjunct to conservative care.
Completes a Master’s in Musculoskeletal Medicine — deepening the diagnostic and clinical-reasoning standard behind every appointment.
Cribbs Causeway and Queen Square, with a small team of senior clinicians. Patients walk through the door for different reasons; they leave with the same thing: a body that moves better than it did.
UK regulator for physiotherapists. Statutory registration — the legal baseline for practising in the UK.
Professional body for UK physiotherapy. Commits to ongoing development and the evidence-based standard.
Master’s degree (2025) in Musculoskeletal Medicine — advanced diagnosis and clinical reasoning for complex MSK presentations.
Diploma (2023) qualifying Alan to deliver hyaluronic acid joint injections as an adjunct to physiotherapy.
Over a decade with Bristol City FC and the Republic of Ireland youth setup. The elite-level experience the brand is built on.

The clinic stays deliberately small — every appointment is with a senior physiotherapist, never a junior covering the diary. Select a clinician to read their full profile.
Alan McFerran
Founder & Clinical Lead · HCPC · CSP Member · MSc MSK Medicine
Founder and clinical lead. Sees patients across both clinics, with a focus on sports-injury and post-surgical rehabilitation — the standard learnt on the training ground, applied to every patient who walks in.
Ellen Reynolds
Sports Massage & Soft-Tissue Specialist · BSc Sports Therapy
Ellen recently returned to the Bristol area after completing her Sports Therapy degree at Birmingham City University, and is building a reputation for a confident, intuitive approach. She has experience across football, rugby, athletics and major sporting events — from marathon runners to first-team footballers.
Her training spans deep-tissue massage, injury assessment, manual therapy and rehab, with particular expertise in massage work. She currently supports Clevedon Town FC’s first team, has worked pitch-side with Gordano Sharks RFC, and volunteered at the London Marathon and Birmingham Great Run. Every treatment is tailored and grounded in real-world experience.
Chloe Bird
Chartered Physiotherapist · CSP · HCPC-registered
Chloe brings five years of clinical experience across NHS and private outpatient settings. Her methodology combines detailed biomechanical assessment with a holistic, person-centred view — how the whole body contributes to pain, movement and performance.
She works across the full spectrum of MSK presentations, from recent injuries to long-standing or complex conditions, with an emphasis on clear communication, evidence-based rehabilitation, and building confidence through tailored exercise and practical education. The aim is simple: less pain, better function, and a return to the things that matter — sport, work, or everyday life.
Victoria Connor
Chartered Physiotherapist · BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy
Victoria is an HCPC-registered physiotherapist with four years’ experience in musculoskeletal practice. She graduated from the University of Leicester with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy and also holds a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sports Massage, giving her excellent manual therapy skills. She treats a wide range of MSK conditions, including spinal pain, upper and lower limb injuries, tendinopathies, osteoarthritis and post-operative rehabilitation, with particular expertise in ACL reconstruction, lower-limb injuries and orthopaedic surgery rehab.
Her approach is friendly, clear and collaborative, focused on communication, shared decision-making and patient education so people understand their condition and feel confident managing it day to day. Treatment plans are guided by strong clinical reasoning, evidence-based assessment and validated outcome measures that track progress and keep rehabilitation on course. Patients appreciate the combination of hands-on treatment, structured rehab and supportive guidance — all aimed at helping them move better, feel better and stay active.
Most patients don’t need an academy team and an MRI to recover. They need a clinician who has worked with the very best, knows what good looks like, and is willing to apply that same standard to a sciatic flare-up on a Tuesday afternoon.
